Leilani Helen Aki is an author born and raised in the East Coast. Her current works are The Nectar of War series and a secret second project. When she is not writing she is cleaving her time between New York City and Baltimore to be with friends & family. She loves cooking & baking, spending time with her dogs, and maintaining her growing community of readers and fellow authors.

With a passion for humanitarianism, Leilani supports the rights of marginalized groups and she is committed to staying true to her people and others struggling outside of it. For all the years to come as an author, Leilani is honored to represent all People of Color at the forefront of her works.
